1) Click on the small ‘plus’ button in the bottom left corner on the main window, or select Menu -> Contacts -> Search for Skype Users.
2) Enter your friends Skype name, full name, location, age, or other details in the search window, and click search. Skype will now present a list of matching search results.
3) Select the Skype name you believe is your friend, and ask for permission to contact them. Once they’ve accepted your request, you’re ready to Skype.
