Information on new wireless technologies
Is it true that wireless broadband cannot offer high speeds like cable, ADSL+2, FTTH and FTTN? Virgin Media offers speed up to 20 Mbps using cable. FTTH uses optical fibre to deliver speed up to 100 Mbps. FTTN uses copper wire to offer ultra fast connections although the speed degrades drastically with distance.
My question is, what maximum speed can we expect from wireless broadband? May be there are new wireless technologies offering high speeds. What is the future of wireless broadband?
