BBC's iPlayer
The much hyped BBC's iPlayer will be launched on 27th this month. The IPTV service of BBC will allow you to download popular BBC programmes via internet seven days after broadcast.

Presently iPlayer will work only on Microsoft Windows OS and if you are a MAC user you need to wait a few months to watch BBC channels on your PC.

BBC says, iPlayer will be available on YouTube, MSN, Bebo, and Facebook by the end of the year. There is a long list of new features waiting to be added in iPlayer in due course. BBC Radio Player, live streaming of programmes and television soaps are some examples

A word of caution: As watching TV broadcast on PC consumes enormous bandwidth, those who have monthly caps should see they don't exceed their monthly download limits.
