KCOM is owned by Kingston Communications group and is one of the ISPs who offer multiple services that include ADSL, SDSL, voice and DTV services.
KCOM offers a wide range of broadband deals for home users and businesses. This makes your task of choosing a package much easier. For instance, if you are a light user, you can choose KCOM Home Lite which comes with 1GB download limit for a monthly cost of £9.95. Naturally, the monthly cost goes up with better usage allowance that comes with your package.

Telephonic support is fine. But broadband speed is poor at times and people there even don’t mind to inform their customers about it.

So far, so good! Customer service and technical support have been good so far. Sometimes connection keeps dropping out and hence is unreliable.

Have been using eclipse for 18mths. Cust services speak in plain english not tec speak. Easy to set up. Reliable connection & speed. Would recommend it to anyone.

I am not happy with dwindling speeds and the answers from customer support are evasive. Prices are cheaper, but they should be accountable to what they deliver. If I don't see any improvement, I have no option but to leave.

I have been with Eclipse for almost 10 months. Initially, the poor speeds made me to think about switching, but, later, the speeds get improved and for the last three months it is amazing that I skipped the idea of leaving. Excellent customer service and they act instantly whenever you call them. Recently, they have slashed prices and I would upgrade to Option 2, when my service contract is over.

Excellent customer service, however, speeds slow down at times. I complained to the ISP over this problem. Despite some improvement in speeds nowadays, I do not get speeds more than 4 Mbps.

Last year I signed up Evolution package 3. Speeds are quite fine and until now, everything is fine with my broadband.

I have found the service to be very reliable with only a couple of instances of down time. However what drew me to eclipse was the small size of the company and the flexibility they told me this offered. However when recently trying to move home I was told they would only offer me a 12 month contract and not continue the monthly contract I was on, not what I was told on starting up with them. They told me that this was due to them incurring a charge of 37pounds which I offered to pay, to no avail. A shame that they proved to be so inflexible as I feel this would have been a strong merit on their behalf. Unfortunately due to this they have lost my custom and my recommendation. Matthew

i have used eclipse for about a year now and have had a few problems mainly with emails not opening and not being able to open webmail page. but apperently they are working on this all in all i have found them to be a good provider. i switched from Tiscali.

My connection speed is 1.1mbps and I can usually download at 105kbs. I have unlimited access I can see streaming movies and the speed is really fast.Customer service is satisfactory.

Eclipse is offering 'Lite' services that excludes some features that are needed for the Home business user. They are providing excelent customer support and it is sufficient for me to avail 1Mb speed.

I was lured by the attractive advertisement for Eclipse. It is indeed a good service provider giving a valuable customer support. I feel that one is able to get things done for the payment. Downloading is good and connections are working out well in evenings also.

If you are looking for a very reliable first class ISP then think no further. Blindly opt for eclipse. It has a fantastic customer service. Compared to other ISPs I would say this is heaven. The connection, hardware, activation all went very smoothly as installation was done. Their service had improved enormously over 2 years and the service is highly satisfactory. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good ISP along with a technically sound customer service.

Eclipse home broadband scheme seems to be a good one. Unlike the other ISPs, here the customer service seems to be good and they provide us with good technical support. It has a reliable access. Like all the other ISPs they not only by words say that they've got 8mbps, they have almost tried to reach that mark. I am very much satisfied with its performance.

I decided to get an eclipse ISP on going through many reviews like this. At the beginning, as per the comments they seemed to be very good. But as time went on, their service doesn’t seem to be up to the mark. There are frequent disconnections and the speed has also reduced considerably. I would not recommend this ISP for those who expect immediate results. Eclipse is of no problem if you are a kind of person who just surfs through and very keen in any download.

I have been a satisfied customer of Eclipse for approximately 7 months and I must say that this is by far the most reliable service I have ever used. They provide wide range of packages both capped and uncapped bandwidth that allows you to perform simple browsing and emailing to video downloads. The customer support I have received from Eclipse has been very good and the emails are replied to promptly in my experience. I can say it is a hassle free broadband connection.

Been with Eclipse now for a month, they were always fantastic, listened and dealt with any problems quickly and efficiently. I am quite impressed with their competitive range of products with upgradeable speed of up to 8 Mbps. They are providing a decent service, and I would recommend them.

Newer to the market I guess (at least I haven't heard of them before. But when I ordered their broadband package, (which is excellent value for money) everything worked as they said. Nice people when you contact them. It does what it says on the tin!

I have been using this connection for just about a month and already problems are creeping in! The connectivity is bad and the speed is pathetic in the peak hours of 6pm – 10pm. I called up the customer service and they deny this! Do they mean to say that I am lying?!!! I am tired complaining to them and finally I am taking another broadband connection from Demon broadband. I sincerely hope that this one is better than Eclipse!

I have been using eclipse for a year now and I have not had any problems with it at all. I use the net for checking my mails, playing games and that's it. So it is fine.
